Side Street Retro-Lounge, located at 1106 S. Pattie Street in Wichita, KS (1 block north of Lincoln Street, between Washington and Hydraulic) is a well established lounge that has been here since 1994, making us the longest-lived gay bar under original management in Wichita.  We entertain LGBT of all ages (must be 21 to enter) and are open 7 days a week from 2:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. We are the only lounge of our type in the city. Our bartenders are of varrying ages and are here to provide you with friendly and attentive service. We have also been dubbed one of Wichita's most friendly bars.

The Side Street has recently added "Retro-Lounge" to its name to better convey the atmosphere after a total remodel that was just completed in November of 2007.  The bar has been extended to seat more customers and redone in all natural wood, the restrooms have been expanded and moved to better facilitate our customers, new lighting and decor has been installed throughout, the patio area has been expanded to hold more than 40, and our liquor selection was totally updated and tripled in size! The atmosphere is modern, upscale and hip.

We offer  pool, darts, a dance floor and outdoor patio for your enjoyment.  Our music style is modern with a few easy listening selections when you want to wind down. We serve a wide array of alcoholic  and non-alcoholic drinks for your enjoyment. We specialize in fine vodkas (over 30 varieties), tequilas and serve properly stored wines by the bottle. Join us for one of our buffets  or annual dinners on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and other special occasions(the owner is a celebrated local chef)!
